This week, only four projects:

  1. Last week, at 00:20 am, I made the executive decision that we would not start playing with firewall rules in nod32. We had at that point discovered all of the minutiae of the fine grained control, and I was concerned that the age of the evening was beginning to affect our judgment! So we will go back at this with clear(er) heads, the threads of the solution and a how-to for copying the readjusted settings from one machine to another, which I’ll discover between now and then.
  2. Last week Byron ran the cable to the Sunday School office drop that had been blank-plated during construction since we moved the drop for the children’s checkin station to the desk at the front of the room. We need to bix into the patch panel on the comms room, re-arrange the room to put the copier in a new location and configure the printer on the appropriate desktops -voila!
  3. We need to get eyeCandy into shape, or least ready enough that we can put it in the youth storage space on 3rd floor so Pastor Jodie can begin loading music during the Bruns Study Cafe sessions. ’nuff said.

  4. It’s time to install the projector and screen in KidzTown. That means mounting the projector in the bulkhead and sighting it on the opposite wall/bulkhead so we can mount the screen. The good news about this is that Fearless leader and I have set aside Friday to finish this job off, so we only need to get our heads around what needs to happen. Friday we can do whatever doesn’t get done including get to hardware stores and do the other tasks that make working in the evening problematic.

Lots to accomplish, lots to talk over, lots to snack on. See you there!
