Filling In the Missing Pieces (Part 5/52)

This Thursday we’ll work on the video network of the new building that isn’t what it should be. We have at least two runs to do from various locations back to the Comms room. Carl has his work cut out for himself in updating the desktops (it’s ThirdThursday) and I’ll likely end up patching a phone extension for the Welcome Centre and rekitting media with bigger drives and vmware to act as an additional vm host. In addition we need to setting up the Children’s Checkin system. Of course there are lots of other projects that could be done if we have the people to do them, so plan on turning up.
Part of the donut discussion this week will be the AV and IT budgets since they’re due by the end of the month. Mmm donuts…
