Where to start (Part 3/52)

September 29, 2009 |

We now possess the building, the grand opening is over and cleaned up, and the monthly desktop scrum is complete. So now onto the monster that is the new building. The network is live in the building and with that done the biggest priorities are the library computer and the children’s check-in system. We have several additional network drops that need to be run through oversight on my part or use-changes in rooms. The library computer needs to be populated with people data and the check-in systems need to be re-OS’d and have the application (SonBlest) installed. We need to resurrect app as a VM host.

I haven’t heard anything from Fearless Leader and haven’t had a chance this week to visit him through the day yet this week. I do know that he was overseeing the satellite dish install for the Willow Creek conference next (almost this) month. Safe to say that there are some things on his plate that need looking after.

Lastly (but not leastly), we need to start thinking about what we want to accomplish next year and the supporting budgets. But that’s what donuts are for. :-)

This just in - Fearless Leader reports that his priorities are to replace the bulb in one of the gym lights (where is Colin when you need him?) and to run coax cable to the nursery and check-in station (a YoungBuck job!)
