Hurry up and wait

Services go back to 10:50 and 11am this Sunday and School starts Tuesday, and Fearless Leader is off on his annual pilgrimage to the wilds of Spednic Lake, so summer must be over. While the 13th will be the grand opening of the new Christian Education Wing we have yet to take possession of the building and so can’t begin the [huge amount of] work of getting the AV/IT needs looked after.
There are four must-do” tasks to look after this week. We need to:
- run coax cable from the telephone room to the comms room in the new building so that we can transit video feed to the extra service to be held in the 3rd floor youth area
- run coax cable from the Traditional Console up the back stairs to the library area to transmit the ribbon cutting ceremony to all three service areas (and perhaps check-in areas)
- run audio to accompany the video from the Library
- install Publisher 2003 on Pastor Nancy’s computer.
Should we get this done I’m sure there are other tasks to get underway :-), and of course donuts to eat!
