Good Thursday

Any Thursday with donuts, coffee and tech-fun is a good Thursday, but the one where we finish up by welcoming Good Friday is pretty special.

On the schedule this week:

  • planning the recording script for the video feed
  • finishing up the backup script for data
  • the server network line to the backup machine
  • cleaning up the DVD recorder in the Contemporary Console
  • Bare metal install for system (with bigger disks!)
  • Review of system documentation

That should be enough, shouldn’t it?

    Got the virtual machines on system backed up this eve. Did some looking around and there has been some success with U8.04 on this machine (DL360 G1). Baring that we’ll try a U8.04 minimal.
