ThirdThusday - the 1st!

It’s Desktop Scrum night this week! We’re on the second round (the first of the year) of working from our paper management system of recording what applications are on each class of machine, what release of software is on the machine, and what the current release for the software is. To boot, we have Colin M committed to supporting Pastor Ralph at his home office and coordinating using our system as well. We also have a special effort to bring pastor Greg’s machine upto the standard since it missed the first couple of attempts.
We have two special projects this week that also concern desktop support. Fearless Leader reports that Primera has released client support for 64-bit XP Pro and so we’ll want to try that out on the teo office machines.
As well, the Children’s Check-in station is arbitrarily flushing kids out of the system if left unattended for a while (!!), and that isn’t what Pastor Nancy wants. I’ve done some preliminary stuff but it hasn’t panned out, so we need to put our heads together on this one.
Donuts (and brownies for Pastor Greg!) begin at 8:30. Come along!
