Speed Demons?

I have been over run with good ideas of late, but when I sequence them in with all of the other good ideas I keep coming back to ensuring that our network is up to speed. And I can’t be certain of that right now.
We’ve had several circumstances that have caused Fearless leader and I to question not the reliability of the network but rather its quality. So this week we’ll persue this by checking the various links from switch to switch to see where the problem might be. Part of this will involve taking the data server down and upgrading the network card to gigabit in anticipation of a separate server backbone network.
Lastly, we need to find out what everyone got for Christmas over a donut or two and a coffee (or two).
