As a policy analyst, my duties include keeping up to date on relevant education research and data analysis, working with various directors, Deputy Ministers, and other department heads, and producing sound policy that meets the needs of pupils, teachers and schools while keeping in line with the vision of the Premiere of New Brunswick.

Governor: University of New Brunswick Board of Governors
As the democratically elected student representative on the final decision making body at UNB, this position oversees the direction of the university community and involves making decisions on the strategic growth and development of the largest university in New Brunswick. I sat on the Finance Committee, which oversees the $200M budget of UNB, and currently sit on the External Relations Committee, which oversees the Donor, Alumni and Media Relations and Promotions branches of UNB.

Managing Editor: The Brunswickan
As the Chief Financial Officer of UNB’s student newspaper, this position oversees the budgetary and employment responsibilities of this non-profit organization. With an annual budget of over $200K, The Brunsiwickan has a staff of 10.

As the democratically elected leader of 7000+ students, and as the CEO of a multi-million dollar group of non-profit organizations, this position entailed a large variety of roles and responsibilities, including:
- Communicating with municipal, provincial and federal governments

- Implementing new ventures in order to better serve students
- Working in partnership with various organizations: CASA, NBSA, MPHEC
