About Greg

Greg LeBlanc, born in Fredericton, New Brunswick, and raised in its country outskirts, is a fellow who enjoys life. Starting from humble beginnings, he has grown to appreciate life’s simple pleasures, such as a sunny day, yet also grapples with life’s bigger issues, such as with the state of political, social, and economic turmoil currently faced by humanity. He has a wide variety of interests, from ancient philosophy and modern physics, to poetry and sexuality, to culture and people. Among his favorite pleasures are sunbathing with a good book; cooking a delicious, aromic meal; watching a compelling, insightful, or funny flick; swimming on a hot summer’s day; taking long walks and have a conversation with friends.

Generous with time, effort and wisdom, Greg shares what he has, yet attempts to find the golden mean between self and community; inner and outer; thought, word, and action. Each day he dreams, sometimes of his own future of goals and ambitions, and also often of the world, both of how bad it has become and of how truly great it can be. Perhaps for hate of boredom, or by virtue of diligence, he likes a challenge and seeks them out.

Considering himself a bit of a renaissance man, or jack of all trades, Greg has worked at summer camps, organic farms, and pizza joints; published newspapers, been a sandwich artist, painted houses and renovated businesses; held presidency of a student union, sat on a university’s highest board, and developed civic education curriculum for the province of New Brunswick. Beyond that, he also writes, paints, travels as often as possible, enjoys fine beer and wine, and tries to make the world a better place, one day at a time.

Though a sensitive man, who tries to be kind and true, Greg is also a strong, passionate character, driven by an imagination that is creative and a cunning that is innovative. He always strives for perfection, or as close as time and patience will allow, and seeks excitement in work, play, and love.

All of these things are aspects of Greg, of the good life he seeks, and of the desires, reasoning, and ideas that drive him.
