Grindhouse – noun Slang. 1. a burlesque house, esp. one providing continuous entertainment at reduced prices.
2. a movie theater that shows films throughout the day and all or most of the night.
Ok, the tagline is lame I know, but seriously, have you done your homework on this upcoming orgy of violent and sexual imagry? Two awesome forces are merging into one film entitled Grindhouse. Quentin Tarantino and Robert Rodriguez wrote 2 seperate thrillers plus fake trailers and mashed them all into one 2.5 hour feature. The films are being hailed as “exploitative” which I’m sure many critics will definitely have much to blab about. I mean, Rose McGowan sports a huge machine gun for a leg !!! That in itself is worth the $8.50!!!
P.S. - Go see 300. This was the greatest film I’ve seen in 2007 so far. The special f/x were really amazing, and the cinematography was brilliant. I will definitely purchase the DVD when it comes out.
