I hate how guitar hero 3 has all these old bands and songs that nobody cares about. They need to throw in newer songs, like Black Betty, Unholy Confessions, some Mettalica and some AC/DC…
They need to stop with the old music, and concentrate on the more popular songs to put on it.
Well whoever thinks slowride, barracuda and some ofthe older songs are no good and no one cares about them, they would actually be wrong, I’m 28 and thats what I grew up listening to. The game is called legends of rock and those songs were the ones that put hard rock on the map and recognizable to the fan base. Not to mention those songs have some of the hardest riffs ever imaginable. Agreed, more songs from metallica, acdc, ozzy, jimi hendrix and even areosmith need to be on this. But we can never have it all or there wouldn’t be anything worth waiting for on guitar hero 10

I like how everyone complains about the old music, and then suggests bands like AC/DC and Metallica etc etc. Do you not realize those bands are old? Or are you the little 13 year old who thinks its cool to wear AC/DC clothing and say it rocks when you clearly know nothing about them other than “its cool”.

I also forgot, its called LEGENDS OF ROCK. You can be a prodigy when new, it takes years to be a legend.

I hope they put Megadeth and Judas Priest on this, or even in the future some Black Sabbath Dio era stuff, Computer God is a friggen amazing song and everyone should listen to it. Oh well there is still room for some of the bands we all want on it, they said over 70 songs, and they’ve confirmed only 62 or 63. Maybe they’re just building the hype so when it does get released everyone will be like oh shit they did put megadeth on it.

I’m a huge green day fan but I don’t think very many of their songs would suit the game as they are fairly simple when compared to something like Iron maiden’s number of the beast. Also people should take into account that there will be download able content and just because your favorite song isn’t in there yet doesn’t mean it won’t be later on. Also fingers crossed for Black dog or Stairway.

After looking threw this, i don’t like this track list, redoctane is folowing a BAD path… GH had an awsome tracklist, iron man, spanish castle magic, story of my love, take me out, etc…. but the GH2 got slighty worse, they followed a sort of EMO path, Megadeth’s still awsome! Why didn’t they keep free bird????? i hated the fact that NO gh songs were in gh2 WTF!!!!! and the same thing with GH3! no Megadeth!!!!!! or jimi hendrix, cmon people:

I have guitar hero 3. How do you get songs like Sabatoge and Suck my Kiss? Do you have to do battles on different levels to get them or do you buy them? This list needs some serious more well known amazing guitar songs. Songs i think should be added are:
Zepplin- any song
ACDC- Thunderstruck
Jet- Are you gonna be my girl? + Put your money where your mouth is
Pink Floyd- anything
Queen- I want it all and others
White Stripes- Icky thump and any other song
Hendrix- Red House
i think that they should bring out a game that allows you to compose your favorite songs

Guitar Hero 3 is amazing my only complaint is that there is no AC/DC. One of the legends of Rock for sure hopefully they will get on GH4
